Dershimer Insurance had a fun time last weekend being the Male Longest Drive sponsor for the Kiwanis 18th Annual “Serving the Children” Charity golf tournament. The winner of The Longest Drive for Men was Chris Walls. On the 6th hole of the Cypresswood Golf course in Winter Haven, Chris launched a 285 yard drive to win a prize package including a $100.00 gift card to Longhorn Steakhouse in Winter Haven. He was on the tournament winning team from the Polk State College Foundation Team along with Lynn Wilson, Phillip Daniels, and Howard Drake.
Congratulations to committee chair Craig Clevenger and the Kiwanis club and all of the volunteers on a successful and fun fundraiser. The Kiwanis Club of Winter Haven does a wonderful job of “Serving the Children”.
